Adrian has over 35 years of property experience with the last 11 years spent in the Gulf. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, an RICS Registered Valuer and has been based in Qatar for 6 years.
He leads the Colliers team in Qatar and provides key property advice to organisations, corporations and governmental institutions delivering large scale valuations, corporate consultancy and property research projects focused on the Qatar market.
Amar Hromo is the Project Design Coordinator for Focus Design Partners.
Amr Metwally as Lead Architect Designer for the MENA Region has been a key figure in the region for the past 20 years in developing both sustainable and visionary architectural award winning healthcare, corporate/commercial, and higher education projects in GCC and Egypt.
Amr's Designed project have been recognized regional and internationally by receiving many wards like the Cityscape Award , Hospital Build Award for the best hospital design in ME and SBID for the most intelligence design of the year worldwide 2013 which he has been recognized at the Housel of the Lords in London.
Burak Guresci is the Commercial Counsellor for the Turkish Embassy in Doha.
Donald joined the Cundall Qatar office in 2012 as the Civil / Structural Director for the MENA region. Donald has been working in the Middle East since 1998 after moving from South Africa, where he studied Civil Engineering.
Donald has a broad experience across most sectors, and has delivered civil and structural engineered solutions on high profile projects, including The New York University-Abu Dhabi, Old Town Residential-Burj Dubai, DIFC Gate Village, Madinat Jumeirah Resort and Dubai International Airport.
Cherif Amor joined Virginia Commonwealth University-Qatar in 2013 to serve as the chair of the Department of Interior Design. He formerly served consecutively as the director of the Interior and Environmental Design graduate program and chair of the Department of Design, Texas Tech University. He earned a Ph.D. in Environmental Design with a specialization in the “semantics of the built environment”, from the University of Missouri Columbia (2000). Research interests focus on neuro-imaging and the built environment, evidence-based design, sustainability, and the interaction between culture and the built environment. Cherif serves as a reviewer of several design journals/publications.
Dr. Elasrag is the CEO of beGreen Global-UK. He has more than 25 years of experience in higher education, sustainability standards development, energy systems, building physics gained through his work in the Middle East and Europe. In additional to his work as a consultant, he continued to be active in scientific research in buildings and energy. He has delivered Invited lectures and published papers in reputed intuitions and journals. He has specialist expertise in sustainable developments, technology development, renewable, energy modeling, and building services.
Emad Turkman MBE is a qualified Mechanical Engineer graduated from a UK University. Also he has a postgraduate diploma in Business and Marketing. He started his career working for GKN in the UK, and then moved to Dexion Group. In 1988, he was appointed Area Manager for the Middle East based in Saudi Arabia
In 1995, he moved to Qatar to run Dexion’s distributor, Rumaillah Services. Today, Rumaillah is a group holding with seven wholly-owned companies specializing in trading and contracting.
Eric Broug is an author/educator/designer, specialised in Islamic geometric design. He has an MA degree in the History of Islamic art and architecture from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London.He has been active in Islamic geometric design for over 25 years and is passionate about the creative and educational opportunities this design tradition offers. Eric gives workshops and lectures around the world and is involved as a consultant in various educational and design projects in the Middle East and elsewhere. He runs a design and education consultancy business, Broug Ateliers Ltd, in the UK and is the founder of the School of Islamic Geometric Design.
Fatima Mohamed Fawzy is an architect, urbanist and planner interested in research and practice related to architectural and comprehensive sustainable design and urban planning based in Doha. She is a registered A Grade architect and urban planner in Qatar. Fatima is member of the American Institute of Architects and Processional Engineering committee in Doha. She writes and present many conference papers locally. In addition to serve in editorial boards of many books, and delivered lectures and presentations in many government and private institutes in Qatar. She is a co-founder of the Doha architecture forum; an architectural platform for sharing knowledge on architecture, urban design, and design-related cultural issues in Qatar.
Dr. Alex Amato has over 40 years’ experience in the built environment. He has worked in both the private and public sectors in the UK, SE Asia and now in the Middle East. Since gaining his PhD at Oxford Brookes University over 20 years ago, he has sought to resolve the perplexing problem of integrating sustainability into the built environment. Since 1996, his research has largely focused on the application of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to assess quantitatively the environmental impact of buildings, construction systems, and products.
Hani Awni Al Hawamdeh is the Chief Technical Officer at Arab Engineering Bureau and brings 27 years of diverse work experience in Architectural, Structural and Electro-Mechanical projects. With his effective forward planning Hani successfully lead and managed design and execution of several major projects at AEB. Most notably he managed the project for Qatar 2022 World Cup – Al Thumama stadium – and is currently in charge for delivering several TODs (Transient Oriented Developments) for the new Qatar Rail project.
Jon Sealey is an award winning, British designer with over 17 years experience.
Jon started his career at Imagination’s London HQ working under respected designer Alister Petrie. He then worked on large scale retail developments in and around the U.K.
With an In-depth knowledge of hospitality and retail interior design Jon has been the lead figure of creative work for some of the sectors largest companies including Hilton, IHG, Accor, Dusit Devarana, Lilanz, Xtep, Anta, QRCB, FTV, Alila and CPN.
Jon provides design excellence on all Interior projects for AEB. He leads the Interiors department and directs designs for some of AEB’s most prestigious clients on a wide range of projects.
With 20 + years of construction industry experience as an Engineer, Project Manager and Consultant, Mark leads PwCs Capital Project Services in Qatar.
Working closely with numerous government, semi government and private sector clients across Qatar, Mark and his team provide targeted solutions across the asset lifecycle including Strategy, Portfolio Management, Project Finance, Project Governance and Control, Operational Effectiveness, Project Assurance and Disputes.
Matthew is a Director for Hilson Moran and has been with the company for over 16 years. Based in the Qatar office he is responsible for all projects and leads with a design ethos to develop well-engineered, functional buildings and masterplans that are sustainable and environmentally progressive.
Starting his career as a mechanical engineer, Matthew went on to specialize in the application of advanced environmental computer modeling, managing environmental specialist teams at a number of leading consulting engineers. Matthew is a regular speaker on environmentally responsible design and sustainable solutions at national and international summits and universities.
Nizar Jalbout is the CEO of Mirabello Interiors.
Palma is the Chairperson and founder of Italian Chamber of Commerce. After leading the Italian business council for 5 years she transformed it in a governmental body under the Italian Ministry of foreign development.
Shahd manages Interior Design teams and portfolios to deliver projects successfully, as well as creating an interactive reporting relationship with the Client, that is both thorough and all-encompassing. She is trained as an Architect, highly experienced in Interior Design and a certified Project Manager. Adding on to this, she is a highly pro-active and goal-driven team player with strong ethics, giving you a leader in the Program Management field.
Mel joined the Doha office in 2012 with over 15 years’ experience within the industry and leads Cundall's Rail sector. He is a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and has a particular focus on rail, critical systems design and exponential technology. Mel has played an important role in establishing the Cundall Qatar office and has sound knowledge of the Middle East market and clients expectations.
